More Than Just Sharp Arms — This Is Collegiate-Level Pom.

The expectations for today’s high school and collegiate dancers are at an all-time high—and Pom has become a foundational skillset for any dancer hoping to join a Division I or Division IA college dance team. These programs demand more than choreography—they expect technical sharpnessmusical precisionstamina, and performance consistency from Day 1.

That’s why this class matters. Every Sunday at 2PM, True Dance Potential opens its doors to dancers ready to take their Pom skills to the next level—and it’s led by one of the most decorated collegiate dancers on Long Island.

About Danielle Quinn – She’s Been There. She’s Done It.

With over 20 years of competitive dance experience, Danielle Quinn brings a wealth of collegiate and professional knowledge straight into the training room. She danced five years on the Hofstra University Dance Team, ultimately captaining the team during her final season.

Her team resume speaks for itself:

  • 6x UDA National Champion
  • 1x ICU World Champion
  • 1x Pan-American Champion
  • 9 Championship Rings

But more than the medals, Danielle brings something even more powerful: an understanding of what dancers need to make it at the next level.

She knows what the collegiate dance world looks like—how to train for it, how to prepare, and how to truly be ready when the time comes.

Why It Matters — And Why It’s Needed Now.

We’re seeing more and more dancers express interest in collegiate programs—but many simply aren’t receiving the proper pom technique foundation during their high school years.

This isn’t about replacing studio training—it’s about supplementing it with focused, advanced training that aligns with collegiate standards. At TDP, we exist to prepare dancers for real-world opportunities, and Pom has become a non-negotiable if your dancer is serious about D1/D1A college teams.

This class dives into:

  • Pom Sharpness & Arm Placement
  • Musicality & Endurance
  • Body Control, Transitions & Form
  • Performance Under Pressure
  • Collegiate Prep & Audition Readiness

Why True Dance Potential Is Doing This

This isn’t just another class.

At TDP, we’re committed to bridging the gap between talented dancers on Long Island and the professional/collegiate opportunities that await them. We know the talent is here. We know the work ethic is here. And now, we’re making sure the training is here too.

By offering classes like Pom Technique with Danielle Quinn, we’re building a space where dancers can grow with intention, sharpen their skills, and receive guidance from instructors who know what it takes.

And we couldn’t be more grateful for the dancers, families, and studios who trust us with that mission.
